The violent jump from 2019 to 2024

I'm back, baby!

After taking a short summer break, Founder Friday has returned. OMG I have so much to tell you. Quick highlights of the summer include us signing 6 franchise agreements, launching 5 new locations, signing several Letters of Intent (including another franchise in Mexico!) I also went on a sweet family vacation to the Jersey Shore and reached some new personal records in my strength training journey. I drank approximately 2,367 Diet Cokes, ate probably 20 bowls of queso, read (or at least thumbed through) all the books I planned to, and helped 2 tiny humans work on their potty training. I refreshed my vision board with refined clarity. A great summer was had by all.

You may have seen the social media trend of "The violent jump from 2019 to 2024" - so I went into the camera roll to decide how I wanted to reflect the last 5 years in 2 photos.

Thanks to my Botox lady, I don't look much older (lol) but my "little dance business" has definitely stepped into her "main character energy." Our 2019 DivaDance HQ was a 300 SF closet. This photo was taken from the doorway so this is literally the entire room.

DivaDance is now playing bigger than ever—not just in our physical space, but in our mindset as a company, as a brand, as a movement.   

Every day when I get to go to work at our now-3,000 SF HQ flagship studio, I don't take for granted everything that it's taken to get here. A selfless mission-driven team team, hardworking franchise owners, a confidence-craving community, and a family and husband who don't just tolerate me - they celebrate me. I'd also like to thank me.  Cause I've had 2 kids AND navigated the company through COVID... so yeah, "Stig, you're a bad MF."
