No days off.

I almost didn't get this email out today.

I'm writing to you from 2 days of working from home while tag teaming childcare with my husband for our Croup-having 18 month old.

The sink is full of dishes.

Kid-stuff has exploded in every nook and cranny of the house.

I have :::checks phone::: 36 unread texts and 22 missed calls.

There are empty, drippy Panda Express takeout containers on the counter.

Even as I write this, Joe is staring at me with the "Are you done yet?" look on his face. Better make this quick.

I want to talk to you about disrupting events.

These are things that happen that you didn't predict or plan for - and for #control-enthusiasts like myself, it's enough to send you over the edge.

But today I kept remembering - the day you plant the seeds is not the day you eat the fruit. And even on a bad weather day, we have to tend to the garden.....AKA Even when shit happens, and it will happen, you have to make it work. Similar to being a mom, being an entrepreneur means you don't really get to take a day off.
