What people say about us….
Today while taking my usual "morning scroll," 📲 I saw a dancing GIPHY of The Office (best show ever, I don't care what you say) in my feed. Immediately, I was like - whoever this person is, I want to know her.
Then I read the post. And the responses.
Actual footage of me reading the post and responses.
It was kind of wild, watching in real time as people talked about my brand and our community - and I'll even forgive her for writing DivaDance as 2 words (IYKYK).
This got me thinking about REPUTATION.
What do people say about you when you aren't around? What message do you send to other people about you - through your social media content.
How do people experience you?
3 things we have gotten right at DivaDance, at the class level, to be able to get comments and posts like this:
We do what we say we will do. We say we're all levels - we are. We say we're inclusive - we are. We say the classes are fun - they are. We have congruence.
We go beyond what's expected. Other dance classes for adults can be intimidating and can vary widely from class to class and instructor to instructor. Entering a dance class can come with a lot of self-doubt,. We go beyond that and deliver a values-led and science-backed (cardio makes you happy!) champagne quality experience.
We're consistent. My job as CEO is to protect and build the brand - what that means is I, along with my amazing team, have created standards, systems, and a culture of commitment - to consistency and to our values. While we embolden our instructors to create their own original choreography, the outcomes of the class itself and the environment will be consistent across brand. And if they aren't, I want to know about it!
