What is your superpower? πŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈ

This is not only a question I asked of the kiddos I saw this week dressed as Wonder Woman, Captain America and other unclear-but-cute-superhero lewks but it's such a great question to get to know someone in a meaningful way. If you're into superheroes, it's a fun conversation starter as you reflect on these characters and what makes them special.

You may not know this, but I was named Jami after Jaime Sommers, The Bionic Woman -  who used her artificial limbs and hearing implants to carry out secret missions and fight against threats. Basically me at 80 (and hopefully not sooner).

A superpower is not just a trait you possess, it's the impact and influence it has. It's the part of you that is greater than the norm.

It's the part of you that makes the world better.

It's also such a fun way to talk about other people in a positive, constructive way. At a conference panel this week I heard a fella say, "My wife's superpower is the ability to listen with empathy, and then take what she hears and make the other person feel seen without being judged."   WOW. I want to know that lady. (And I love hearing people praise their partner in such a juicy way!)

So this has gotten me thinking: what's my superpower - in business, as a friend, as a mom? And what is the superpower of each of my colleagues, of my franchise owners, of my children, my spouse? How can I bring this out of each of them even more, and how can we work together, dynamic duo style, to use our forces for good?

I'd love to hear what you think your superpower is - feel free to respond or message me directly!
