How To Make Every Day Great

How's your day?

Mine is GREAT, thanks for asking.

I’ve been thinking about what makes a day feel truly great, and I’ve narrowed it down to five essentials—what I like to call my Confidence Protocol. Here’s what works for me:

1 Use my brain
I need to learn something every day - whether that's just asking the manager of the gas station about his business model (yes I have asked this), listening to a podcast (Alex Hormozi is my #1 favorite), or creating new choreography.

2 Follow the "system"
By that I mean my system for wellness habits. It's the stuff we know we have to do but we tend to not prioritize. This means hydration, move my body, look my best, get sleep, wake up early, vitamins, eating high protein, etc.

3 Laugh

Fun is not optional. Laughing is required. I need to see funny memes every day, I need to make silly reel videos. I need to chase my kids around the house. I need to do my Nancy Grace impression (ask me).

4 Plan and prepare

Proper planning prevents poor performance is a phrase my dad told me starting at a young age. Preparing for my meetings, conversations, schedule logistics - all essential in my daily confidence.

5 Make moves

Things in motion stay in motion. I aim to work toward my bigger goals every day, even if the advancement is seemingly small. Sometimes this means just doing research or batching the content, other days having a big negotiation meeting, reviewing analytics across the company, or even taking the time to embolden my team so they can make their own moves.

I’d love to know—what are the key ingredients that make your day great?
