My first marketing plan

As Gen Z says, :::CRINGE::::

I found this lil' gem while looking for something on my Google Drive - dated 2003. I then rabbit holed in my DivaDance archive - old class schedules, old Emails I sent to clients, emails I sent asking studios if I could rent from them, photos and videos from before iPhones. Embarrassing promotional flyer designs that I'll never show you (I probably will).

It was progress, not perfection.

I talk to so many aspiring founders or entrepreneurs that think everything has to be "perfect" before you can launch or make any significant moves. When I wrote this "marketing plan" I had no branding, no website, no capital, no clue.

But I knew I had SOMETHING in these classes. And I had to just keep going.

This "marketing plan" (yes I have to keep it in quotes just to protect my own credibility as a now-seasoned marketer) was VERSION 1.0.   Because that's what successful people do— especially Founders. They continue to learn, tweak, iterate. They are never finished. They trust the process.

So wherever you're at in your process, just a reminder that you are always a work in progress.
